Spark! School of Performing Arts is seeking Music Teachers, both part-time and full-time, to join its team for the 2022-2023 Academic Year, commencing August 2022.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach music to students of various ages and learning styles, in large, small, and/or one-on-one situations;

  • Develop, plan, prepare, and implement music course content.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' teaching with an internationally recognised teaching qualification, along with a degree in a relevant field;

  • Sound knowledge and technical skill in a variety of instruments, including piano;

  • Experience in preparing students for qualifications from external examination boards, e.g. Trinity College London;

  • Effective instruction with creative and innovative ideas;

  • High expectations for the learning and achievements of students;

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;

  • An engaging personality and the ability to support students from a wide range of  backgrounds.

The salary range for this position is $24,000-$48,000 KYD per annum and will be commensurate with part-time or full-time employment and qualifications/experience. Other benefits include health insurance and contribution to a pension plan.
