Little Glimmers (Ages 3 - 4)

Little Glimmers introduces young children to the joy of music, movement, and creative play in a nurturing environment. Through songs, stories, rhythm, and imaginative activities, children begin developing confidence, coordination, communication, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.

Glowing Embers introduces young performers to music, theatre, and creative movement through imaginative, engaging, and collaborative experiences that build confidence and a love of performance.

Musicianship Programmes

Spark! Theory Studio (Ages +7)

Strengthen the foundations behind every growing musician.

Spark! Theory Studio is a flexible, teacher-guided space where students strengthen the musical knowledge that supports their private lessons, schoolwork, and examinations.

Students work at their own level and may attend regularly, for a short period of focused support, or when recommended by their teacher. The format allows several students to work on different goals within the same session.
Duration: 60 minutes

Spark! Rhythm & Repertoire (Ages +7)

Build the skills behind every great drummer.

Spark! Rhythm & Repertoire is designed to complement private drum lessons by giving students dedicated time to strengthen technique, rhythmic understanding, and musical confidence in a practical, supportive environment.

Whether preparing for graded examinations, learning new repertoire, or refining core drumming skills, students develop greater independence at the instrument while deepening their understanding of rhythm and musicality.
Duration: 60 minutes

Radiant Flares (Ages 8 - 11)

Radiant Flares encourages students to develop as confident performers through music, theatre, and collaborative creative projects while strengthening performance skills and artistic expression.

Blazing Flames (Ages 12+)

Challenge Yourself. Lead Creatively. Perform Confidently.
Blazing Flames is Spark!’s senior performing arts programme, designed for students ready to deepen their performance skills while exploring creativity, collaboration, and artistic leadership.

Spark! Playwriting Collective invites students to explore theatre through storytelling, writing, improvisation, and collaborative production while developing creative leadership both on and off the stage.

Spark! Improv Studio is a welcoming and supportive programme where adults explore improvisation through games, storytelling, creative challenges and collaborative theatre exercises. Whether you're looking to build confidence, meet new people, strengthen communication skills or simply enjoy trying something different, no previous acting experience is required—just a willingness to say "yes, and..."

Spark! Guitar Ensemble

Perform with expression. Grow musically. Enjoy every chord.

Spark! Guitar Ensembles bring adult guitarists together in a relaxed and supportive environment, with two dedicated groups designed to suit different levels of experience: the Beginner Guitar Ensemble for complete beginners and those returning after time away, and the Guitar Ensemble for players who already understand basic chords and guitar technique.

Through familiar songs, guided exercises, varied repertoire, and collaborative rehearsals, participants develop their chords, rhythm, timing, listening, technique, and ensemble skills at a comfortable pace. Both groups offer an enjoyable and pressure-free way to build confidence, progress musically, and experience the connection of making music with others.

Spark! Classical Guitar Ensemble

Spark! Classical Guitar Ensemble offers adults the opportunity to explore and develop within the classical guitar tradition through two dedicated groups: a Beginner Ensemble for those who are new to classical playing, and a regular Ensemble for guitarists with previous experience who are ready to build their technique, repertoire, and ensemble skills.

Participants develop the foundations of classical technique and music reading while exploring repertoire from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, alongside music from Europe and South America. Sessions include a combination of individual repertoire and ensemble playing, allowing each guitarist to grow independently while experiencing the unique connection of making music together.

Spark! Ukulele Ensemble brings adults together to enjoy music in a friendly, social, and encouraging environment. Open to ukulele players with a range of experience, the programme helps participants strengthen their chords, strumming, rhythm, technique, and ensemble skills while exploring an enjoyable selection of repertoire.

Through collaborative rehearsals, participants build musical confidence, develop greater fluency, and learn how to play with others as part of a balanced ensemble. With opportunities to share their music in relaxed performances throughout the year, the group offers an uplifting way to grow as a musician while enjoying the social side of making music together.

Spark! Studio Band (Trinity Grade 4+/ or equivalent)

Spark! Studio Band brings together developing musicians who are ready to experience the excitement of playing in a contemporary ensemble. Through collaborative rehearsals, students strengthen their musicianship while exploring repertoire across a variety of modern styles.

Whether performing rock, pop, jazz, funk, or contemporary arrangements, Studio Band encourages students to become confident, adaptable, and expressive ensemble musicians.

Spark! Chamber Collective is an advanced instrumental ensemble for passionate musicians ready to take their playing to the next level. Through professional chamber music coaching, students explore engaging repertoire from a variety of eras and styles, with music carefully selected around the instruments within the group.

Focused rehearsals develop technique, listening, communication, balance, and ensemble awareness, while multiple performance opportunities build confidence and valuable stage experience.

Spark! Vox Collective (Trinity Grade 4+/ or equivalent)

Spark! Vox Collective brings singers together to explore the artistry of ensemble singing through contemporary, classical, and a cappella repertoire. Students develop vocal technique, musicianship, and confidence while experiencing the unique connection that comes from singing together.

Whether performing rich harmonies, contemporary arrangements, layered a cappella works, or creative interpretations of familiar songs, Vox Collective celebrates the power of collaborative music-making.
