Vocal Performance Troupes (Junior and Senior)

The Spark! Vocal Performance Troupe is an elite singing team for committed vocalists. Through this programme, team members will receive intensive vocal training in vocal technique, ear & harmony training, and performance skills. Instructors will work with members to facilitate their growth in solo work and small/large group pieces, within the context of different musical genres.

​

Team members will rehearse for 1-2 hours per week for 12 weeks per term to prepare for various performances throughout the year. The cost per term (scholarships available) includes intensive training, opportunities to work with other professionals within the field through different workshops and participate in vocal competitions locally, and internationally.

Spark! School of Performing Arts is always keen to discover new local talent for our troupes. There are 10-15 spots available for male and female members between the ages of 8-12 for the Junior Troupe and ages 13-18 for the Senior Troupe.

Auditions will take place by appointment only. Individuals who are auditioning should prepare two contrasting songs a cappella and/or with instrumental tracks (no lead vocals) to sing. There will also be an interview phase and an ear/harmony training test.
